Principle & Construction:
The Grinding Oil laden with Swarf from the Grinding Machine comes in to the Collection & Lifting Section of the HOFFMANN Suction Belt Filter. From here, it is pumped into the Filter Top of the Hoffmann Suction Belt Filter that is placed at an incline. The Suction Pump of the Hoffmann Suction Belt Filter then sucks the Grinding Oil through the Filter Belt into the Clean Coolant Tank where it is efficiently and Precisely cooled by the Hoffmann Cooling System. Thus, the Treatment Cycle of the Grinding Oil comprising of Filtration + Cooling is completed and the Grinding Oil is then rendered ready for delivery to the Critical Grinding Process.
The Filter Belt of the Hoffmann Suction Belt Filter is an Endless Continuous Belt that is subjected to First Filtration where the Sludge from the Grinding Machine builds a Filter Cake to finely filter out the Grinding Oil. Thereafter the Filter Belt is subjected to Sludge Drying then Sludge Discharge and finally to the Regeneration & Cleaning Cycle through the ‘Hoffmann’s HSF Filter Program’. Thus, the Hoffmann Suction Belt Filter operates with practically NIL Consumable Cost (No Filter Media – No Filter Aid) on account of the ‘Continuous Programmed Rotation’ of the Endless Filter Belt.
